GZWA.com recently sat down with Bobbi Storm, the woman who refers to herself as Didgitz within the wrestling world to answer a few of our burning questions about her return and upcoming title opportunity.
The GZWA Nation hasn't seen Didgitz grace the ring in quite some time. Do you mind sharing what took you away from the ring?
The reason why y'all haven't seen me in a while was the fact I was still dealing with the death of my husband and best friend, Darius "D-Dawg" Majors. He was a huge influence on me and many of our other family members. But I have been training the next superstar or should I say the next big thing. He is my nephew and the first fourth generation wrestler. His name is Desmond King. This boy has all of the potential in the world if he stays healthy.
Many of your fans in the GZWA Nation and within the wrestling community saw you announce your retirement on social media. What made you change your mind to take up the challenge to dethrone Vi Malkov?
I did have my mind set on just being a trainer something that Darius was planning before his death. But when GZWA had their Reinas tournament I gave the champion a run for her money and it was an instant classic. I never got my chance at revenge and when Xion text me. He seen my text and asked how serious was my retirement statement. Now here I am in a championship title match against Vi.
Are you aware that Scary Mary has decreed that the holder of Queen of Queens Championship can challenge for the Vixen Championship at a future date as long as they are still the champion at that time? What does it mean to you to not only hold this title, but possibly both the QoQ and Vixen Championship held by Blake Harper?
That would be amazing but honestly that is what is gonna happen. Because Vi isn't gonna beat me again and Blake Harper won't be prepared for the storm that's coming. Because I am the type of female that never shows the same card twice.
Any final words for your fellow Vixens and former Reinas participants who are eligible to compete for that title after the dust settles between you and Vi?
Vi, be ready for the greatness that is Didgitz. This is nothing that you are prepared or seen before. But you think you are great well I am the goddess of this division. As my idol once said survive if I let you. Vi, be humble.
