Sensational Mary stood before the crowd during this press conference that she called for to promote the upcoming GZWA Reina de Reinas Tres. She had just announced all of the participants for this year’s event with several returning GZWA Vixens and a few surprises coming in as guest-stars from across the wrestling world. The opening match-ups were revealed as well, but the press still weren’t satisfied.
Reporter: “During Reina de Reinas Dos, you said that if the winner of that tournament won and held the Queen of Queens Championship until the next tournament they would be granted an unique opportunity. Care to enlighten the masses on what that is?”
Sensational Mary | Hostess with the Mostest: “Oh certainly, darling. It’s no secret that Vi Maklov has been on the warpath since winning the title. What saddens me over the past year is that the bulk of the competitors from Reinas Dos went into hiding and didn’t step up to challenge Vi. I thank those who did for their hard work, but alas I’m going to have to consider a better prize after Tres.
For now, the decision still stands that Vi can ‘cash in’ her title for a title match against the reigning GZWA Women’s Champion Susie Price.”
Reporter: “Speaking of Vi Malkov, we haven’t seen her for the last few months now. Is she hiding or biding her time in preparation for her big decision? The same could be said for Susie Price who has been seen on Primetime merely sitting on top of her throne instead of defending her championship.”
Sensational Mary | Hostess with the Mostest: “I’m glad that you brought that up. A matter of fact, I have asked both ladies to attend this very event. Feel free to ask them yourselves.”
As if on cue, the psychotic ‘ruler’ of GZWA’s women division steps up, rather rudely standing in front of Mary to take the spotlight for herself, detaching the championship title from her waist and raising it over her head, while retaining her proud and regal yet underlying sinister smirk, tilting her head to the side. From there, she seats herself down upon her designated chair, footering about on it before speaking, sitting her title in front of her.
Susie Price | The Mad Queen: “I actually demanded for a throne in which I may be seated, but I guess not everyone can fit the standard of their queen… So you want to know why I haven’t defended my championship? It’s simple. I have asked, pleaded time after time, for someone to step up and prove their worth to me, but no one has come up to bat, and it’s left me most disappointed. You think I like sitting on my throne, watching inferior women do what I do, but less efficiently?”
Poking her title, she grins in a dark manner as she reminds those watching of her accolades.
Susie Price | The Mad Queen: “I sit on top of my throne because I WANTED it, and I DESERVED it. I didn’t waste my time worrying about my relationships or my body or trying to act like I’m humble. I broke people. Look at what I did to your former champion, the false queen. I cracked her arm like it was nothing, and that’s what she is now. Nothing. Even Scary Mary up here knows the right thing to do is sit and watch the new blood of this company stay in control...“
Susie passes a smirk at Mary as she says this, her supreme arrogance knowing no bounds before turning her attention back to the reporting.
Susie Price | The Mad Queen: “And now you people think this girl, what’s her name? Vi Malkov? You think she’s going to come after me? She doesn’t even go here! She just turns up every once in a while to defend some ‘title’ she won as a guest here! If she’s smart enough, she’ll do the right thing and stay away from me, or I’ll break her too. No one inside of GZWA, no one outside of GZWA, no one in the UNIVERSE can stop my rulership as the Queen, and that is just how it is, and how it always shall be for as long as I demand it...”
A distinct whistle ripples through the press conference, bringing some eyes towards the doors. People standing close to the door hears “Twisted Nerve”, the infamous tune that stood at the top of the Kill Bill soundtrack. A hush falls among the reporters as the whistling grew louder. Soon, the one making the tune rounds the corner, showing that it was indeed, the Reina de Reinas herself, Vi Malkov. Having been missing of sorts for the last few months, her appearance is starling to the masses. Clad in aviator shades and a striking white leather jacket, the champion strolls in with a clear arrogance radiating off her. She takes hold of the championship belt wrapped around her waist, brandishes it for the world to see, and places it on her shoulder. She walks over to a seat closest to Scary Mary and sits down. Despite her shades obstructing a direct sight of them, her eyes do fall onto Susie Price. Yet, she doesn’t speak, even when someone provides her with a microphone. Instead, she mockingly draps one leg over the other and motions for Susie to continue speaking.
Reporters begins to try to capture her attention, but Vi raises a gloved finger to the audience. Once they start to calm down, she motions to Susie again, nonverbally telling her to continue. With aggressive nostril flaring, Susie stares at Vi as if wanting to pounce on her then and there.
Susie Price | The Mad Queen: “You BETTER be here to say that you’re not going to challenge me… You’ll regret it.”
After a moment of silence between the two, Vi reaches over for the microphone offered to her.
Vi Malkov | The White Hawk: “I’ll regret challenging you?”
Vi’s demeanor shifts to the ever-present stoicness that people had come to know.
Vi Malkov | The White Hawk: “I’ll like to see you try to make me regret it then, because that’s exactly what I’m doing. Challenging you.”
There is a stir in the audience that Vi ignores.
Vi Malkov | The White Hawk: “I hear people refer themselves as ‘queen’ so often that I like to think myself as the woman who destroys kingdoms and empires. I’m like Attila the Hun. I’m this looming threat that you only hear about and grow to fear from afar. You pray that I never show up to your doorstep, hungry for battle and ready to take what I see is mine.”
Vi points at the GZWA Women’s Championship, allowing a small grin to appear on her face.
Vi Malkov | The White Hawk: “And that right there? I’m laying my claim to it. If you have an issue with it, do something about it. However, allow me to tell you this. On my way to this point, I’ve fought challenger after challenger, people that thought they could stop me. They bolstered forces, made me the villain, and even came back from retirement, just to get put down by me.”
The White Hawk reaches for her shades, taking them off, allowing Susie and the entire audience see her piercing blue eyes.
Vi Malkov | The White Hawk: “So, go on, make me regret it. I want to see what you can do.”
Biting the inside of her cheek, Susie stares at Vi with an arrogant smirk, with her eyes telling her true emotions of pure rage, nodding slightly as she sits herself up properly, stroking her title like a pet.
Susie Price | The Mad Queen: “I hope you know that you’ve just made the biggest mistake in your professional career by doing this. I hope you’re ready for the world to see you cry when I put you down...”
Standing up from her chair, the psychotic champion raises her title over her head before reattaching it onto her waist and stroking the faceplate while keeping her confident smirk, looking down towards Vi as if to boast her superiority.
Mary speaks up again, enjoying every single bit of this confrontation between the two champions.
“There’s only one way to settle this. At Reina de Reinas Tres, it shall be winner takes ALL. You heard me right, the Queen of Queens Champion and Reina de Reinas Dos Tournament Winner Vi Malkov will face the reigning Women’s Champion Susie Price.”
With a scoff after the announcement, Susie walks off from the conference, smugly and aggressively shoulder barging Vi on her way out with a dark chuckle before stepping back into the darkness.
